"LITERATURE IN THE HOUSES OF THE CITY" - KAPITELMANN READS ON ELBWOOD

This year's Festival of the Art Salon has found a new festival playground in the particularly beautiful rooms of ELBWOOD and Geigenbau Schellong Osann - thanks to the hosts: Prof. Dr. . Björn Nashan and Dr. Dr. Bianca Hofmann.

The charismatic and wonderfully humorous author Dimitrij Kapitelmann (born 1986) reads from his successful autobiographical novel "The smile of my invisible father" from his successful autobiographical novel (2016).

We hear about the journey together by father and son, which should lead us out of the sadness of the Saxon asylum seekers' home, through the local Kaufland and the attempt to create a folkloric autobiography by selling pelmeni and Crimean sparkling wine. Father and son, Jews with Ukrainian passports who came to Germany as so-called contingent refugees, embark on a journey to Israel and thus in search of their Jewish identity.

Dimitrij Kapitelmann underpins this evening with his own music, which he has released under the artist name "Dheema".
