The 2nd big spring reading enthusiastic friends and guests of Elbwood and Geigenbau Schellong & Osann on March 18, 2018: After a warm champagne reception in the rooms of ELBWOOD and the welcome by Frank Pressentin and Nikolaus Osann, three cellists, including Vytautas Sondeckis, the solo cellist of the NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchestra, Li Li, cellist with the Hamburg Symphony Orchestra, as well as the wonderful soprano Verene Andronikof a concert at its best: Bach's viol sonatas, Tchaikovsky's Rococo variations and the vocalises by Villa-Lobos.

Sven Forsberg, who is part of the Guarneri Cello Duet, unfortunately had to cancel due to illness. The Viennese cellist Attila Pasztor, multiple international award winner, stepped in at short notice - what a worthy replacement!

The wonderful chamber concert ended at a late hour with stimulating conversations between the artists and guests and with delicious wines from the Chateau Saint Esteve d’Uchaux.

Frank Pressentin and the musicians pondered the idea of ​​making individual pencils for the NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchestra according to personal preferences over good Prime’s rum in the Writer's Lounge until late.
