Cellists of the NDR Elbphilharmonieorchester, invited to the opening of the exclusive series of events:

GUARNERI BAR.

The instruments by Guiseppe Guarneri belong next to the Stradivaris to the most precious string instruments in the world. It was a special musical evening with exquisite wine from the southern French winery CHATEAU SAINT ESTEVE D’UCHAUX .

The greeting took place in the premises of ELBWOOD . Here the noble fountain pens and ballpoint pens could be picked up and written extensively. In keeping with the Advent season, the Writer's Lounge was wonderfully lit with patinated candle holders made of solid brass and handmade poinsettias.

On the stage of the workshop of GEIGENBAU SCHELLONG OSANN the precious, old instruments were played. In between, the musicians told about the history of their exceptional violin cello and chatted about life as an orchestral musician.

All guests agreed that this merging of craft, art and high culture is absolutely unique and has to be repeated.

It is planned that the GUARNERI BAR will open its doors on the first Tuesday of each month during the season of the Elbphilharmonie.
